A matrix chart can be utilized as a management planning tool to examine and show the connection between sets of information
Matrix charts compare two or more groups of elements or elements within one group.
The matrix diagram displays the relationship between two, three, or four groups of data. At every intersection, a relationship is either missing or present. It then gives information about the relationship, for example, it's strength, measurements and the roles that are played by various individuals.
Based on how many groups should be compared, it can be shaped differently. There are 6 types of matrices of various forms: L, T, Y, X, C, R, and roof-shaped.
By the opacity of each cell, you can understand how often two terms show up together in the different sections of papers, relative to the total number of times the term on the vertical axis shows up in total. The darker the cell, the more often the terms show up together.
The arrangement of the matrix cells change can also be configured by name, group, or frequency.
